In another first, the Canterbury TAMIL Society and Dunedin Tamil-Society will come together for a friendly T20 cricket game in Timaru, which is halfway between Dunedin and Christchurch, in September 2018. In addition to being able to play and view some great cricket, this also presents a wonderful opportunity for the two Tamil communities to get-together, make connections and build friendships. This may pave the way for future collaborations between the two societies. Please see details of the event below. It is likely to be a potluck/picnic event with more specific details to follow once attendee numbers are known. Please contact us with your expression of interest to participate in the event.
