Canterbury Tamil Society Annual General Meeting for the year 2018/2019 was held on Saturday at 3.00 pm the 17th of March, 2018 at Waimairi Road Community Centre, 166 Waimairi Road, Ilam, Christchurch.

The annual report for the year 2017/2018 was presented by Mr. S. Gnanasuhathipan, Vice-president of CTS for the year 2017/2018. Its adoption was proposed by Mr. K. Ragulan and seconded by Mr. Edison.

Mr. S. Surendran, Treasurer of CTS for the year 2017/2018, presented the Treasurer’s Report. Its adoption was proposed by Mr. R. Piratheepan and seconded by Mr. A. Senthuran.

At the AGM, the following executive committee was elected for the year 2018/2019

Following the committee election, a general discussion was undertaken between the new elected committee and the CTS members to identify the prioritised society’s activities to be carried out for the year 2018/2019.

Finally, CTS executive members convey their thanks to the members who attend at the AGM.
